There is nothing quite like seeing our own Tribe members step up to inspire the next generation.

Recently, honorary members of our Liquidity sisterhood took the stage at this year’s Hub71 Youth Week in Abu Dhabi for an impactful Women in STEM panel, and we couldn't be prouder of how they represented us.

Expertly moderated by our VP of Communications and Marketing, Parisa Ansarian, the stage featured a true Liquidity powerhouse of talent: Product Director Pinar Karabulut, Product Data Specialist Najwan Odeh and Financial Analyst Team Lead Sabina Lyatifova.

Together, they opened up about their personal career journeys, shared heartfelt advice and gave students a real-world look at what it takes to excel in the traditionally male-dominated worlds of finance and tech: which, as shown on stage, is thankfully changing fast.

What made the panel so special wasn't just the depth of expertise on stage, but how relatable our team made the industry feel.

There’s no single, perfect route into STEM and the ladies made it clear that the future belongs to those willing to make sense of complexity, challenge the status quo, and turn their insights into action.

Here is what our panelists had to say about the experience and the advice they hope the students took home:

For Pinar, the goal was to strip away the intimidation factor that often surrounds tech and finance.

“What I enjoyed most about the panel was making careers in technology and finance feel a bit less intimidating and a bit more real. I wanted the young women in the audience to leave with a stronger sense that they can actively shape where technology is going, rather than just adapt to it. With AI evolving so quickly, this is such a good time to start experimenting, building and getting comfortable with the technology.”

Najwan took the opportunity to reflect on her own path, reminding the audience that it’s perfectly fine not to have every single step figured out in advance.

“Participating on the panel was a great opportunity to step outside my comfort zone and share a part of my journey beyond my day-to-day work. I hope the conversation reminded young women that they don’t need to have their entire career mapped out. I wanted to encourage them to stay curious, believe in themselves and be open to opportunities that take you somewhere unexpected.”

Looking out at the crowd, Sabina remembered her own early-career jitters and emphasised the magic of simply giving things a try.

“I really enjoyed being part of the panel and it actually reminded me of myself when I started my first job. I remember being a bit worried at the beginning and I had a lot to learn. My main advice to the students was to start gaining experience as early as they can, try new things and, most importantly, not be afraid. You learn a lot by simply trying.”

At Liquidity, we know that diverse perspectives are the driving force behind everything we build and achieve. Seeing Parisa, Pinar, Najwan and Sabina champion those values on stage was a fantastic reminder of the talent we have within our Tribe.

A big thank you to our panelists for being such incredible role models helping to spark the next wave of successful women in STEM!
