Description

About Liquidity

Liquidity brings together expertise in private credit, technology and decision science to deliver intelligent capital to ambitious businesses. Our culture is driven by curiosity, ingenuity and the determination to challenge convention.

The Role:

We are looking for a high-energy, resourceful Operations Manager to keep our London office running seamlessly and deliver an exceptional experience for employees, clients and visitors.

This is a hands-on, people-facing role with a broad remit spanning workplace operations, client hospitality, vendor management, travel, events and HR coordination. You will move confidently between welcoming a client, resolving an operational issue, coordinating international travel and supporting a team initiative - bringing ownership, sound judgement and attention to detail to every interaction.

As a visible representative of Liquidity’s London office, you will create an environment that reflects our pace, professionalism and ambition.

Responsibilities:

Client Experience and Hospitality

·      Be a welcoming, professional point of contact for clients, partners, candidates and visitors.

·      Coordinate visits from arrival to departure, including reception, meeting rooms, refreshments and access arrangements.

·      Work closely with internal teams to anticipate guest requirements and deliver polished, well-organised meetings.

·      Represent Liquidity with confidence, discretion and a strong service mindset.

Workplace Operations

·      Own the day-to-day running of the London office, maintaining a professional, welcoming and fully functioning workplace.

·      Manage facilities, maintenance, cleaning, office supplies, pantry services, deliveries and couriers.

·      Coordinate with building management, service providers and internal teams to resolve issues quickly.

·      Maintain clear operational trackers, procedures and handover documentation.

·      Proactively improve processes, remove friction and support the changing needs of the office.

Vendors, Budgets and Finance Coordination

·      Source suppliers, negotiate service terms and manage vendor relationships.

·      Monitor service quality, contract renewals and recurring operational commitments.

·      Track office expenditure, identify cost efficiencies and maintain accurate budget records.

·      Review invoices and coordinate approvals and payments with Finance.

Travel, Meetings and Events

·      Arrange business travel, accommodation, ground transport and travel insurance in line with company policies.

·      Support visiting colleagues and executives with local logistics and office arrangements.

·      Coordinate meetings across international time zones, ensuring rooms, materials and practical arrangements are ready.

·      Plan and deliver team events, client hospitality and employee activities within agreed budgets.

·      Capture meeting actions where required and drive timely follow-up.

People and HR Coordination

·      Partner with global HR to support recruitment and local people initiatives.

·      Coordinate candidate communication, interviews and introductory meetings, keeping recruitment systems up to date.

·      Support onboarding logistics so new joiners feel welcomed and ready from day one.

·      Assist with employee benefits administration and workplace enquiries.

·      Bring energy and creativity to employee engagement, helping build a connected London team.

Qualifications:

·      Relevant experience in operations, office management, workplace experience or a comparable customer-facing role.

·      The ability to manage multiple functions and competing priorities without losing sight of the details.

·      Strong interpersonal skills and a confident, polished approach to clients, senior stakeholders and colleagues.

·      A proactive mindset: you anticipate needs, take initiative and follow through.

·      Experience managing vendors, expenditure, travel arrangements and events.

·      Excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.

·      Comfort working independently while collaborating across international teams.

·      Discretion, reliability and sound judgement when handling sensitive information.

·      Confidence using productivity tools, spreadsheets and business systems.

Who Will Thrive Here

You enjoy being where people, activity and priorities come together. You are approachable, adaptable and calm under pressure, with the energy to keep things moving and the judgement to know what matters most. No task is beneath you, and you take pride in making every interaction and operational detail feel seamless.
