Looking ahead through the lens of our new business strategy, we sat down with Alex to get an inside look at what the Capital Formation team is building.

“Our core focus is actively expanding our institutional capital base to secure the stable, large-scale capital that fuels our business,” notes Alex.

The roadmap is both ambitious and highly targeted. Front and centre is the launch of a new commingled private credit fund designed specifically for institutional investors. By deepening our ties with pensions, insurance companies and established asset managers, the team is setting us up for long-term financial success.

"We’re deliberately targeting long-term capital partners and advancing our broader markets strategy through warehouse financing and securitisation," says Alex.

This strategy optimises our capital stack and ensures we have the liquidity to jump on market opportunities the moment they arise. But achieving this level of scale doesn’t happen in a silo.

Bringing complex institutional products to market relies on seamless alignment across the entire business: from our Investments and Origination Technology teams sourcing assets and building out digital infrastructure, to Marketing crafting the right narratives for prospective investors.

To make sure the business is ready to absorb and deploy this incoming capital, the team is currently heavily focused on the operational mechanics.

"By building robust institutional infrastructure and collateral now, we’re laying the exact groundwork needed to support these ambitious initiatives and rapidly scale the platform," he explains.

The heavy lifting happening behind the scenes today is exactly what will allow us to scale tomorrow. Stay tuned for more updates as this roadmap unfolds over the coming quarters.
